ULVAC, Inc. The new component product design will be unveiled from August 31 (Wed.) to September 2 (Fri.), 2011 at the Japan Vacuum Show 2011, held at the Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Tokyo.

【Development of New Designs for Vacuum Equipment Component】

There are three symbolic colors for new product design. The main color, product blue, represents "Innovation and Creativity", silver represents "Accuracy and Luxury", and black represents "Reliability and Strength". We use the three colors according to each product and wholly express feeling of security and beautility through the design.　Face plates for each model are used to more strongly convey the characteristics of the symbol colors. The face plates used before were so-called rated face plates and did not really stand out. The ULVAC logo ULVAC and model name is made easier to see and the label outline is made clearer in order to create a face plate that conveys a feeling of security and reliability. The new face plates go well with the silver tone of the vacuum pump and vacuum valve bodies and have an overall balanced design.The controller parts for measuring instruments such as vacuum gauges are also uniformed with other products as well as the face plates and a accuracy and luxury design have been chosen. Different contrasts have been used for the operating and display portion to improve the user interface in regards to operability and safety.Actual models of each product lineup with the new designs will be on display from August 31 (Wed.) to September 2 (Fri.), 2011 at the Japan Vacuum Show 2011, held at the Tokyo Big Sight. Components Division will further promote new designs for vacuum equipment components and will continue in its endeavors to develop and create customer-friendly products.
