(2) Production situation at ULVAC group company facilities・Production at ULVAC TOHOKU, Inc.ULVAC TOHOKU, Inc.* (Kita Inter Kogyo Danchi, Hachinohe, Aomori), one of ULVAC's consolidated subsidiaries, resumed production on March 15, 2011. The company adopted a shift-work system and has been making all efforts to minimize the impact on the product shipping schedule.
・Distribution
We have secured distribution channels for parts and products.
・Production situation at other major plants
Although our plants in Chigasaki, Fuji Susono, and Chiba Tomisato are subject to rolling blackouts, we are doing our best to minimize the impact on the product shipping schedule and respond to customers' requests by adopting a shift-work system.

Some of our cargo that was being processed for shipment at the port of Hachinohe was affected by the tsunami, and we are currently in the process of investigating the details of the situation.
