Joint Research | The University of Osaka Announces Launch of "Fully Japan-Made" Quantum Computer on July 28―Equipped with a Dilution Refrigerator Developed by ULVAC

On July 28, 2025, a "fully Japan-made" superconducting quantum computercomposed entirely of domestically manufactured key components, parts, and softwarewill begin operation at the Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB), The University of Osaka.

The system is equipped with a dilution refrigerator jointly developed by ULVAC, Inc. and ULVAC CRYOGENICS INCORPORATED.
