The purpose of this letter is to inform you that we have detected a minor defect in our Ionization Vacuum Gauge. We would like to have the opportunity to remedy this defect by offering you a complimentary repair service by our trained technicians. We also apologize and regret this inconvenience to you. Therefore, ULVAC is asking for your cooperation in our incessant efforts to provide you with the highest quality in our products.

■Model: GI-TL3 Ionization Vacuum Gauge and GI-TL3RY Ionization Vacuum Gauge (with meter relay)

‡ Including all units purchased before August 2004.

■Symptom

‡ Possible overheating from an internal transformer causing parts deterioration which may lead to a burnout of this transformer and other electric parts.

■Service provided by ULVAC

‡ ULVAC will take possession of the unit and fully repair the internal circuitry.
