ULVAC's "ECO-SHOCK" has been selected as the winner of the Third Japan Vacuum Industry Association/Japan Industrial Journal Chairman's Award for 2003.

ULVAC's "ECO-SHOCK" receiving praise as "an electricity-saving attachment that brings revolutionary reduction in dry pump power consumption," has been selected as the winner of the Third Japan Vacuum Industry Association/Japan Industrial Journal Chairman's Award for 2003.

We at ULVAC are passionate about offering products that contribute to a better environment and reduce energy use.
The Japan Industrial Journal Chairman's Award is conferred upon those in technological fields, especially those who develop technologies and products that contribute to the advancement of life sciences, the environment, IT technology, creative technologies, and other such fields. In particular, this year's award stemmed from the recognition that energy costs for dry pumps under normal operating conditions can be reduced by as much as 70% when the ECO-SHOCK is attached.
In addition, ECO-SHOCK was awarded the "Chairman's Award, Japan Machinery Federation's 23rd Award for Outstanding Environmental Machinery" by the Japan Machinery Federation in February of this year.
