CSR Partner of Shonan Bellmare

ULVAC, Inc. carries out community-based CSR activities as a CSR partner of Shonan Bellmare, a local professional football club.
The game against F.C. Tokyo on November 6, 2011 was named “ULVAC Special Day” and company volunteers helped the game as administrative support staff.

Cleaning at Chigasaki Coast

The employees of ULVAC, Inc. and ULVAC TECHNO, Ltd. participate in beach cleaning activities held by Chigasaki city every year.

Sagami River System Environmental Conservation Activities

The employees of ULVAC, Inc. and ULVAC TECHNO, Ltd. have been involved in Sagami River System River Patrol (which includes cleanup activities and water quality survey along the river) and the survey of the stream biota conducted with local elementary and junior high school students. Both activities are hosted by the Council for Cleaning-up Sagami River in Chigasaki Area.

Kano River System Kise River Cleaning Project

ULVAC employees join the cleaning project of Kise River in the Kano River System (Susono city) held by the Kano River System Water Quality Control Council.

Hachinohe Clean Partners

The employees of ULVAC TOHOKU, Inc., ULVAC, Inc., ULVAC TECHNO, Ltd. and Nisshin Seigyo participate in Hachinohe Clean Partners, an environmental beautification program run jointly by Hachinohe city with its residents, and perform cleaning activities.

Hachinohe High Tech Park Cleaning Campaign

The employees of ULVAC, Inc., ULVAC TOHOKU, Inc., ULVAC TECHNO, Ltd. and Nisshin Seigyo are involved in volunteer cleaning activities of High Tech Park and Hachinohe Kita Intersection Industrial Estates.

Cleaning Activity in Tomiya-cho, Miyagi Prefecture

The employees of ULVAC TECHNO Miyagi CS Center joined a cleaning activity held by Tomiya-cho, Miyagi Prefecture.

Outdoor Cleaning around Yamatake Office

At the Chiba plant of Tigold Corporation, employees perform cleaning activities including trash picking and weeding in the area and from the roads around the plant every month.

Madame Curie’s Science Lab

[December 2008] Wonder of vacuum phenomenon and the scientists who have studied vacuum were explained in an easy-to-understand manner in a lecture for children. (On the left front in the photograph is Mr. Hayashi, a company friend (the third president of ULVAC, Inc.))

Summer Evening Festival

[August 2008] The employees, customers and their families of ULVAC KYUSHU Corp., ULVAC Seiki Co., Ltd. and ULVAC, Inc. (including former ULVAC Materials) in the ULVAC Kagoshima Industrial Complex as well as local residents were invited to our Summer Evening Festival. About 1,250 guests enjoyed on-stage events, lottery, open-air stalls and a plant tour.

Clean Osaka 2008

[November 2008] Osaka Branch employees of ULVAC, Inc. joined the beautification activity of the streets of Osaka.

Cleaning Campaign along Kujukuri Coast

[August 2008] ULVAC employees joined the cleaning campaign held by the International Volunteer University Student Association and collected trash left by tourists and washed ashore.

ULVAC Festival in Korea

[October 2008] ULVAC Group Companies in Korea jointly held the Festival. About 1,600 people came to the Festival and had a great time. With the proceeds from the flea market and the food market, rice was purchased and donated to a worthy cause.

River Purification Activity

[May 2009] “Volunteer Group for Delivering Love” formed by the employees of ULVAC Group Companies in Korea picked up trash from nearby rivers, contributed to the beautification of the scenery.
