Rare earth sintered magnets for compact and high power motors
Motor, one of major parts of hybrid cars, is for driving electromagnetically, equipped with rotors with permanent magnets and it rotates synchronizing with a frequency of 3 phase AC. Hybrid cars require lighter motors with higher power. The permanent magnet used for them are neodymium* sintered magnets because they have strong magnetic force with compact body.
